A content creator from Washington is going viral after she and her friends attended Coachella this year as women all over the age of 60.

In just 48 hours, Megan Dahl, 61, of Seattle, has racked up more than 3 million views on a single TikTok video after she and her best gal pals attended this year’s Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival in Indio, Calif. She tells PEOPLE exclusively about the best part of their experience.

“Honestly, the comments have been the best part,” Dahl tells PEOPLE.

“Everyone is so nice and genuinely funny — it’s all kind of wild,” she says. “We’ve had the best time reading through them, and it just makes us really happy.”

The ladies had so much fun for their first time last year that Dahl — along with Mollie Jensen 61, Rena Nofsigner, 61, and Sue Parson, 65 — had to do it again.

“This is Coachella in your 60s!,” she wrote over the fun clip, adding “It’s day 3 and we are going to be so sad when it’s over! 🫤,” as the caption.

“This is who brands need to bring,” one person commented. Another wrote, “Baddies never retire!”

The post also garnered attention from reality star Ariana Madix and fashion designer Betsey Johnson.

When it came to the group’s outfits, the ladies had one clear goal in mind.

“We didn’t overthink it because, let’s be honest, no one is looking at us,” Dahl jokingly tells PEOPLE. “We just wanted outfits that were fun and comfortable. We knew we’d be dancing and putting in about 20,000+ steps a day.”

The annual two-weekend festival took place from April 10–12 and again April 17–19, 2026, and featured headlining performances from Karol G, Sabrina Carpenter and Justin Bieber.

Billie Eilish, Madonna, and SZA were just some of the surprise guests who also hit the stage.

“Which up and coming artists should we go see?” Dahl captioned a TikTok posted on April 13.

The upload was a photo slideshow set to Hannah Montana’s “This Is the Life,” and showed the ladies in action, grabbing drinks and posing for photos inside the iconic SPECTRA.

“We actually bought our passes before the lineup was announced,” Dahl tells PEOPLE. “We loved the energy from last year so much, we knew we had to go back.”

“At Coachella, we get to see artists we grew up with and discover totally new ones, which we love,” she adds. “Everyone is so kind and happy, and the vibes are just amazing. Something about the whole festival experience really keeps us feeling young.”

The vibe is one that the group plans to come back for.

“It’s sure been life-affirming having all these strangers embrace our joy,” Dahl says. “Safe to say…we’re not done with Coachella and music festivals yet.”
