Former Vanderpump Rulesstar Lala Kent is opening up about filming the upcoming third season of the hit Bravo show, The Valley.
While speaking to Access Hollywood in December 2025, Kent explained she "was very nervous to go back on to reality TV" after Vanderpump Rules completely revamped the show's cast following its 11th season, which aired in 2024. She said while she "had a wonderful time filming" season 3, being on The Valley "was definitely different" than filming Vanderpump Rules, which she joined during its fourth season.
"I still feel like I'm trying to find my place within this group. Even though I know most of them and I'm friends with most of them, it's just a different game when you're filming a show," said Kent, who is co-starring on The Valley season 3 with her former Vanderpump Rules castmates, Brittany Cartwright and Tom Schwartz.
In addition, Kent teased how she behaved while interacting with her Valley castmates.
"I don't want to say mellow because the crazy is in my DNA and definitely the moment that I don't like the way someone's speaking to me like I pop off," said the mother of two to Access Hollywood. "I am someone who has gone through a transition in the past two years. I'm trying to pinpoint my emotions in real time before I just react. Does it always go well? I've been this way for 35 years, so it doesn't always go well."
She clarified that viewers of The Valley season 3 will "see someone who's a little bit more calm."
"There's more balance. It's not so black and white. I think this season I found the gray," said Kent.
She also said she believes "people will be a little shocked" when watching The Valley season 3.
Lala Kent Suggested She Isn't Happy With Her Castmate, Daniel 'Danny' Booko
During the Access Hollywood interview, Kent was asked if anyone on The Valley season 3 cast was on her "naughty list." She replied that Daniel "Danny" Booko "is on my naughty list."
"Danny, I can't quite put my finger on it, but maybe you guys will," said Kent in the interview.
She clarified that she doesn't have an issue with Booko's wife and Valley co-star, Nia Sanchez.
"I love Nia. I think she's a wonderful person. She's never been anything but kind to me. She hustles, which I admire so much, especially with four kids. But yeah, it'll be interesting for you guys to watch," teased Kent while speaking to Access Hollywood.
Booko referenced his interactions with Kent while filming the third season of The Valley in a November 2025 interview with Entertainment Tonight, alongside Sanchez. Booko said that "Lala definitely stirred the pot a lot" during the production of The Valley season 3.
"I was warned. And she came in and knew her assignment," said the actor in the November 2025 interview.
Sanchez also said that "everybody, like, dipped their toes into the drama this season," including herself.
"I had a few moments," said Sanchez.
