It's safe to say Tom Brady is not a fan of how current NFL players are approaching the 2026 NFL preseason. And considering he's now a part-owner of the Las Vegas Raiders, it probably holds even more weight than before. Obviously, Brady is one of the best quarterbacks to ever play the game, if not the best, so regardless, the seven-time Super Bowl champion's opinion is worth noting.
However, Brady's latest Instagram story, calling out players for not suiting up for preseason games, was even more impressive because he showed receipts to back up his point. In the post, Brady said too many players are "looking for easy ways out these days," and the text was accompanied by a clip of him on the field during a preseason game, throwing a touchdown pass to Randy Moss.

"Preseason...Regular season... I never wanted to be taken off the field," Brady wrote. "Practice makes perfect... Too many people looking for easy ways out these days. When you're a football player, and it's football season, your job is to play football."

For good measure, Brady's preseason debut was in 2000, so his playing into the third quarter of the 2010 NFL preseason is definitely interesting. For good measure, Fox Sports also highlights Brady's stats from the 2018, 2019, 2021, and 2022 preseasons. In two of those years (2018 and 2021), Brady played in two games, tallying 44 pass attempts in 2018.
