Tina Knowles is wishing her eldest granddaughter, Blue Ivy Carter, a happy birthday and sharing more insight into the young superstar's birth.
Beyoncé and Solange Knowles' mom took to Instagram on Wednesday, Jan. 7, and shared a heartfelt post featuring a collage of photos documenting her granddaughter's sweet life moments on her 14th birthday. "I remember the day that we found out about you being in your mom's womb," Knowles wrote in the caption. "We could not have been more excited!"
Knowles reflected on Blue Ivy's birth, giving more insight into her name and early childhood.
"We were told that you were the size of a blueberry and that is where your name came from!" she shared. "We all prayed together for you every single day till you were 12 weeks old in your mom's belly! Then we prayed individually until you arrived months later."

Knowles shared that it was "apparent that you were a fighter from the beginning, and you talked very early," adding that Blue Ivy has always been "smart as a whip." The proud grandmother gushed over Blue Ivy's "incredible" imagination.
"To say that I'm a proud grandmother is an understatement!" she continued. "Even with all of your accomplishments and success, you remain a very sweet, kind humble human being. To my manager, makeup artist, fashion adviser, my love. Happy Birthday."
Fans all over are also celebrating Blue Ivy's career and accomplishments as a rising star.

A day prior, Knowles recalled Beyoncé pushing through one of the "hardest shows" as she performed while secretly pregnant with her first daughter in 2011. While sharing a throwback clip of the 35-time Grammy Award winner singing during the 2011 "A Night with Beyoncé" concert taping, Knowles said, "This is one of the hardest shows we've ever done."
"Beyonce was about two weeks pregnant with Blue and as nauseated as she could be. In between songs, she would run back and throw up and come out and do the next song," she revealed. "This is when I knew without a doubt how strong and resilient of a performer she was... we couldn't tell anyone about the pregnancy."

Of course, Blue has already cemented her status as a young superstar with many achievements and accolades of her own added to her name.
