Paris Jackson is all smiles in a new selfie with her mother, Debbie Rowe, uploaded to her Instagram stories
The model posed for two photographs with her rarely-seen mother, who stays out of the public eye. In the pictures, one taken outside and one indoors, the two women look happy in photos with matching blonde hairdos. “Lately,” Paris captioned the second photo, alongside a red heart emoji.

Paris is, famously, the daughter of musician Michael Jackson, often hailed as the “King of Pop”. Debbie, a nurse, was an assistant to Arnold Klein, the singer’s dermatologist. Michael sought frequent treatment from the doctor to treat his vitiligo, an autoimmune condition that causes skin to lose its pigmentation.
Additionally, Paris has two brothers, Prince (born 1997) and Prince Michael Jackson II (born 2002), often referred to as “Blanket.” Prince is Paris’s older, full brother, through her father’s marriage to Debbie. The couple married in 1996 and divorced in 2000. However, her younger brother was conceived via artificial insemination, and his parentage is unknown.

The two women may soon become subject to an on-screen portrayal, after the release of Michael, the biopic of the pop legend, which is set to release this April. The upcoming film will focus on the singer’s Jackson 5 days and his early solo career. However, a follow-up film is reportedly being produced and planned for release. The second biopic is thought to chronicle the star’s later years and subsequent controversies, which will likely portray his family and romantic life.
However, Paris isn’t looking forward to her father’s biopic, which is produced in partnership with the current executors of Michael’s estate. In new court documents, the model criticized the film, describing it as “dishonest” and a “botched production”.
