Fallout is back for season 2 — with both old and new vault dwellers!

The Prime Video series, which is based on the hit video game series of the same name, returned for a second season on Dec. 16. The eight-episode order picks up where the first season left off with Lucy (Ella Purnell) and The Ghoul (Walton Goggins) venturing to New Vegas to uncover the truth about her father (Kyle MacLachlan).

As the two make their way to New Vegas and embark on the dangerous quest, they see both familiar and unfamiliar faces. In addition to Purnell and Goggins, Aaron Moten, MoisĂ©s Arias, Annabel O’Hagan, Leslie Uggams and Frances Turner are all reprising their roles.

Meanwhile, Kumail Nanjiani, Macaulay Culkin, Justin Theroux and Rachel Marsh have all joined the season 2 cast as new characters. Although the stars have bizarre romances on-screen, in real life, many of them have been in long-term relationships for years.

Here's everything to know about the real-life partners of the Fallout cast.

Ella Purnell

Ella Purnell attends 'Fallout' season 2 premiere in Los Angeles on Dec. 8, 2025.

Purnell, who plays Lucy, appears to be single and finding a balance between work and fun.

“I enjoy my little life. The other versions of who I could be attempting to be are fun to try on for a day or two - you get all dressed up and go to the Emmys and that's so exciting - but I do know now that's not who I am,” she told Cosmopolitan in a December 2025 interview.

Purnell added, “My life doesn't revolve around my job anymore. It took me a long time to realise that this is not my life, it's my work, and making that separation has been quite important for me.”

Although Purnell doesn't appear to be in a committed relationship, she previously dated musician Max Bennett Kelly for around three years. Purnell has deleted most of their photos together and was later pictured holding hands with celebrity chef Gabe Kennedy in April 2025.

Aaron Moten and Lilja RĂșriksdĂłttir

Aaron Moten and Lilja RĂșriksdĂłttir attend the 'Fallout' season 2 premiere in Los Angeles on Dec. 8, 2025.

Morten lives a quiet life with his wife, Lilja RĂșriksdĂłttir.

The couple met at Juilliard, where he was studying acting and she was studying dancing and choreography, per a 2024 interview with Icelandic publication MBL.IS.

After living in the U.S. for a few years, they moved to Iceland, where RĂșriksdĂłttir studied psychology at ReykjavĂk University. However, they moved to Los Angeles in May 2025, per one of RĂșriksdĂłttir's Instagram posts.

Morten and RĂșriksdĂłttir share three children, and she paid tribute to her husband's parenting on Father's Day 2025.

"Aaron, I honestly don’t think I would’ve (somewhat) kept my marbles without you as the father of my children," she captioned photos of Morten with their kids. "You teach them what safe feels like. They’re so lucky, and so am I. Happy Father’s Day!"

Kyle MacLachlan and Desiree Gruber

Desiree Gruber and Kyle MacLachlan attend the 'Brunello, II Visionario Garbato' red carpet premiere.

MacLachlan may portray the powerful and mysterious Overseer of Vault 33, Hank MacLean, in Fallout, but there's no mystery to his love for his wife of over two decades, Desiree Gruber.

The Desperate Housewives actor and the publicist-turned-entrepreneur met at their chiropractor’s office in 1999 and began dating shortly after. They tied the knot in 2002 and welcomed their son Callum in 2008.

“I couldn’t imagine not being with her forever,” MacLachlan told The New York Times in 2017. "She knows more about my industry than I do. I like the creative part. As do all actors. The business side is something that I run from. And she has encouraged me to not run from that and to engage. And that’s been incredibly helpful."

Moisés Arias

Moises Arias attends the Universal Studios Hollywood Horror Nights on Sept. 4, 2025.

Arias, who plays Lucy's brother Norm MacLean, doesn't appear to be in a relationship. The actor, who rose to fame as a child on the hit Disney show Hannah Montana, looks to be focusing on work amid the success of Fallout.

In addition to his acting career, Arias is also a photographer and creative director who has worked with brands such as New Balance. Because Arias has been part of the Fallout cast since season 1, he has close bonds with the rest of the cast.

“The first season was shot in New York. We all met up a little bit more just because most of us aren’t from there, and we’re in the same general area,” Arias told Den of Geek in December 2025. “But now with the second season being shot in California, a lot of us are from here and it’s a much vaster city so it was harder to get together. When we did there wasn’t talk about work for the most part. But there was definitely excitement about what we had just read.”

Walton Goggins and Nadia Conners

Walton Goggins and Nadia Conners attend the Emmy Awards on Sept. 14, 2025 in Los Angeles.

Goggins became an instant fan favorite as Cooper Howard, a.k.a. The Ghoul, on Fallout. Off-screen, he has been married to Nadia Conners for nearly 15 years.

The White Lotus actor and the writer-director met on a blind date in 2005. They married in August 2011 and are parents to one son, who was born in January 2011. Over the course of their relationship, Goggins has not held back his love and appreciation for his wife.

“I would absolutely agree with that statement that to be in a relationship with someone who has something profound to say about everything, that's a real gift to have that in your union,” he told Military.com in 2011. “I do believe, ironically, that love is the great releaser.”

Before his relationship with Conners, Goggins was married to a woman named Leanne from 2001 until her death three years later.

Annabel O'Hagan attends the 'Fallout' season 2 premiere on Dec. 8, 2025 in Los Angeles.

O'Hagan, who plays Stephanie Harper, has kept much of her personal life out of the spotlight. However, she shared a rare glimpse into her love life while reflecting on the year 2024 in a December Instagram post.

One of the photos showed O'Hagan wearing a white wedding dress while being held by a man in a tuxedo as they overlooked fireworks.

"2024 was a big one ✹ Grateful for all the magical moments and people and places along the way," she captioned the post.

Although O'Hagan has not publicly shared the identity of her husband and kept her love life under wraps, she has not shied away from expressing her gratitude to the cast and creators of Fallout.

"It is such a joy to celebrate this show and all the brilliant people that I get to work with. Immensely grateful to everyone," she captioned a series of photos from the season 2 premiere on Dec. 9.

Grahame Pratt and Leslie Uggams attend Prince Walk of Fame Induction on June 13, 2016 in New York City.

Uggams portrays the complicated Vault 33 Overseer Betty Pearson, but off-screen, she's been married to her husband, Grahame Pratt, for 60 years.

The couple initially met while they were both students at the Professional Children's School of New York, but they didn't fall in love until he became her manager. Uggams and Pratt married in 1965 and were one of the rare high-profile interracial marriages at the time.

“It was not as hard as I expected it to be,” Uggams told PEOPLE in 2018. “I think the reason is that Grahame was not an American white man. But of course we did get mail.”

She added, "He’s smart and witty and fearless. We laugh all the time — but it ain’t always roses. We have fun together.”

Uggams and Pratt are parents to daughter Danielle, born in 1970, and son Justice, born in 1975, and grandparents to Kassidy.

Justin Theroux and Nicole Brydon Bloom attend the 'Fallout' season 2 premiere in Los Angeles on Dec. 8, 2025.

Theroux joined the Fallout cast in season 2 as Robert House (also known as Mr. House), the wealthy CEO of RobCo Industries. While Theroux may be the villain on-screen, he's a real-life doting husband to Nicole Brydon Bloom and a father-to-be.

The American Psycho actor and the Paradise actress first sparked romance rumors in February 2023 and confirmed their romance six months later when they packed on the PDA in N.Y.C. They made their red carpet debut at Vanity Fair's annual Oscars party in March 2024 and got engaged five months later.

Theroux and Brydon Bloom married in a private ceremony in Tulum, Mexico, in March 2025. In December, PEOPLE confirmed that the couple are expecting their first child together, and she showed off her growing baby bump at the Fallout season 2 premiere on Dec. 8.

Macaulay Culkin and Brenda Song

Macaulay Culkin and Brenda Song attend 'Zootopia' 2 premiere on Nov. 13, 2025 in Los Angeles.

Culkin is also a new member of the Fallout cast and plays a "crazy genius-type" member of Caesar's Legion. Of course, Culkin is no stranger to the entertainment world and has been acting ever since he was a child — just like his fiancĂ©e, Brenda Song.

The child actors met in 2014 through mutual friend Seth Green, but they didn't hit it off romantically until they filmed his 2017 movie Changeland in Thailand. Culkin later confessed to Esquire that he thought things were too good to be true but eventually realized, "No—sometimes it's just good."

Culkin and Song marked a major relationship milestone when they welcomed their first child together, a son named Dakota, in April 2021. Less than a year later, they got engaged. In March 2023, Kieran Culkin confirmed that his brother and Song had welcomed their second child, son Carson.

Culkin and Song, who have mostly kept their children out of the spotlight, told Cosmopolitan in January 2025 that they have “talked about eloping.”

Kumail Nanjiani and Emily V. Gordon

Kayla Oaddams/WireImage

Emily V. Gordon and Kumail Nanjiani attend 'Fallout' season 2 premiere in Los Angeles on Dec. 8, 2025.

Nanjiani portrays a member of the Brotherhood of Steel starting in season 2. The actor, who previously shared that he was a major fan of the series, is married to Emily V. Gordon.

The Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire star and the writer famously co-wrote the 2017 film The Big Sick based on their love story. Similar to how the Oscar-nominated film depicts, Nanjiani and Gordon met after she heckled him at a comedy show and started dating in 2006.

Although their differing cultural backgrounds caused an initial chasm in their relationship, they realized their love for each other after Gordon experienced a health scare and was placed in a medically induced coma.

Months after Gordon recovered from her coma, she and Nanjiani tied the knot in July 2007. Over the years, the two have continued working together and have jointly written and produced projects such as Little America and Welcome to Chippendales.

“If we’re hanging out, and one of us gets an idea about work, we have to ask permission to bring it up," he told The Hollywood Reporter of their working relationship in 2022. "Sometimes the other person says, ‘No!’ ”
