Based on the real-life Jordan Belfort's 2007 memoir of the same name, The Wolf of Wall Street tells the story of Belfort's career as a stockbroker on Wall Street, chronicling how his company engaged in corruption and fraud for his personal financial gain, which ultimately led to 22 months in federal prison, one month in rehab and $110 million in restitution.
