The young couple arrive at the theatre on Friday to watch a performance of Inala

Lady Louise Windsor and Felix da Silva-Clamp, her boyfriend, were pictured enjoying a double date at the theatre with the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh.

The recent St Andrews graduates, both 22, joined the Duke and Duchess at the Royal Lyceum Theatre in Edinburgh on Friday to watch the Grammy-nominated production of Inala.

The group posed for pictures with cast members following the production, which is a South African dance musical. Its title means “an abundance of goodwill” in Zulu.

The House of Sisters Grimm production, usually hosted in the West End, was performed in the Scottish capital from Aug 14 to 16 as part of the Edinburgh International Festival.

Speaking to Hello! magazine after the couple attended the performance, Chiara, from the Sisters Grimm team, said: “Over the years, we’ve been honoured to perform for the Prince and Princess of Wales at the Royal Variety Performance and for Prince Harry at Hampton Court Palace.

“To now share Inala with another generation of the Royal family feels very special. We’re beginning to wonder who might come and see us next!”

Lady Louise and Mr da Silva-Clamp are understood to have met while taking part in a student production of Dragon Fever while at St Andrew’s, with Lady Louise performing in the chorus and Mr da Silva-Clamp playing “an impressionable and naive young squire”, a role that earned him an award for Best Scene Stealer.

The King’s niece is now taking a gap year after graduating last month, having completed a degree in English and international relations. She will spend the next year working, volunteering and travelling before settling on a career.

Lady Louise is not a working member of the Royal family, but has expressed an interest in the military, having spent time in the St Andrews University Officers’ Training Corps as a cadet.

She is known to have a passion for carriage driving that was shared by her late grandfather, Prince Philip.

In 2024, it emerged that she was dating Mr da Silva-Clamp, who shortly afterwards accompanied her to Sandringham on a number of occasions to cheer her on as she competed in the Sandringham Horse Driving Trials.
