Katie Thurston addressed divorce rumors after fans noticed her husband Jeff Arcuri’s lack of social media engagement
She shared speculation about their relationship status on her Instagram Stories before she posted a video confronting Arcuri about the claims
The pair married in 2025 after meeting through his comedy videos the year prior
Katie Thurston is clearing the air about rumors surrounding her marriage.
The former Bachelorette lead, 35, took to her Instagram Stories on Tuesday, April 21, to address speculation that she and her husband, Jeff Arcuri, were getting a divorce due to his lack of engagement on her social media lately.
Thurston first shared a screenshot of a DM from an anonymous account with no followers or posts, who wrote, “No wonder Jeff is so done with you he hasn't liked last six of your posts and not even liked your comments recently.”
In her response, the reality star teased, “Oh no! 😅Jeff hasn’t shown his love via public social media display. Is a divorce near? But what will all the finstas think?! 😱”

She then posted a video playfully confronting Arcuri, 38, asking him, “Are you divorcing me?”
“Why? I mean, no,” he replied. “Well, I noticed you haven't been liking my posts.”
Confused, he questioned if Thurston was serious and said he would go like the posts “right now” despite insisting, “I don’t like anything on the internet.”
“The internet says you're leaving me,” she continued, laughing and turning the camera. When Arcuri realized she was recording him, he jokingly declared, “Yes, I am leaving you!”
“You heard it here first,” Thurston captioned the clip.

The next Story was a screenshot of her family group chat poking fun at a Bachelor fan page post that read, “Shocking news: After two years of marriage, Katie Thurston confirms she has divorced her husband, comedian Jeff Arcuri - she reveals the reason, leaving fans stunned.”

Thurston and Arcuri first met in 2024 after she rose to fame as a contestant on Matt James’ Bachelor season in 2021, which led her to become the next Bachelorette. While she was briefly engaged to one of her suitors, they split and she shifted her focus to working as an influencer with a stand-up “hobby.”
When Thurston later discovered Arcuri’s comedy videos on Instagram, she “had a crush on him from afar” for months until they finally met in person in May 2024.
“Jeff is so charming, a little giggly and bashful,” she told PEOPLE earlier this year. “I remember texting my friends and being like, ‘This is my future husband.’”

In August 2024, the couple got engaged in a romantic beach proposal in Hawaii. However, they faced a major obstacle the following February when Thurston was diagnosed with breast cancer.
“Jeff and I had the longest hug we’ve ever had,” she recalled of the call confirming the diagnosis. “We were just sobbing. He was like, ‘I’m here for you, we’re in this together.’”
Acuri was preparing to leave for his world tour, but he canceled it, and Thurston moved to live with him in New York City. In March 2025, they "eloped in our living room,” Thurston shared.
