It's been a big year for Pacey and Joey shippers.

Last July, *Dawson's Creek** *stars Joshua Jackson and Katie Holmes announced they'd be reuniting for not one, not two, but a trilogy of films about the "pursuit of love." Then, just this month, the former onscreen sweethearts, whose romance did briefly extend into real life during *Dawson's *early days, walked the red carpet arm in arm before a film screening at New York City's Lincoln Center.

Now, Holmes is blatantly stoking the Pacey-Joey fervor that has not died down over two decades after the emotional *Dawson's Creek *finale saw her and Jackson's characters living in bliss together.

The actress shared a picture of herself, with her arms flung around Jackson's shoulders, to her Instagram on April 16.

"We are so thrilled to be a part of the Tribeca Film Festival this June with our film *Happy Hours*," she wrote. So many beautiful people worked on this project. And working with Josh again was a dream."

As previously stated, Holmes and Jackson's "dream" project has been known for months. What's gotten *Dawson's *fans buzzing is several comments on the post that have risen to the top, due to its author liking them.

Comments like "Joey and Pacey forever" and "please get married in real life" immediately flooded the post's comment section, as they always do whenever Holmes and Jackson post about each other. But Holmes liked several others, including one user stating, "They should be a couple," and another pining, "Wish this was a hard launch."

The pair dated for about a year, between 1998 and 1999, when *Dawson's Creek *was in its first two seasons. The WB's big teen drama took television by storm, transforming not only Holmes and Jackson into major stars, but the rest of the core quartet too, which included Michelle Williams and James Van Der Beek, who died in February at the age of 48.

Jackson recently opened up about his enduringly strong bond with Holmes, despite what a cast as close as theirs can experience over so much time.

"Whether we talk to each other all the time, [Busy Philipps] and Michelle are very, very close, and Katie and I are very close," he shared. "Sometimes it's not a weekly or monthly or even a half-yearly call, [but] there's probably no other people in your life that you are that forged to."
