Joy Wesley Returns to 'Days of Our Lives' on April 24: What to Expect in Salem

She’s BACK! After months of speculation, Days of Our Lives confirmed that AlexAnn Hopkins will reprise her role as Joy Wesley for the Peacock streaming soap opera.
Hopkins confirmed the news in a video posted to the show’s official Instagram account, saying, “Surprise, I’m back, you thought Joy was gone, she’s back in Salem, to find out why you will have tune into Peacock.”
The post’s caption also revealed her return date: , “She’s back!! What trouble will Joy be getting into this time? Beginning April 24th, stay tuned!”

Fans quickly shared their excitement in the comment section following the announcement.
One user speculated on her possible storyline sharing, “I can’t wait to see joy Wesley back in Salem will she be bringing Chloe back as well I hope so starting the drama right before my birthday.!!!!! Yay I betcha Joy Wesley Will Be Bringing her son back to Salem as well and it’s gonna be Alex baby and than Stephanie finds out and breaks it off with Alex and leaves Salem and also she’s the real stalker that put it up to Jeremy and Owen Kent at least that’s what I am reading but we shall see….. Hopkins last appeared on the soap opera almost a year ago on March 19, 2025 when Joy left after have a positive pregnancy test following a hookup with Alex Kirakis (Robert Scott Wilson). Now viewers are waiting to see if that is what brings her back to town and how long she will stick around this time.
