Jason Kelce Can’t Help but Gush Over Wife Kylie When Asked About His ‘Favorite Teammate’

Jason Kelce gushed over his wife Kylie Kelce during a recent appearance, calling her his "favorite teammate"

"I have by far learned more from her than anybody else," Jason said of his wife

The former Philadelphia Eagles star said Kylie has "taught me patience and virtues and selflessness" during a panel at Rowan University on Tuesday, April 21

Jason Kelce's favorite teammate isn't his brother from their college days, or one of his fellow Super Bowl champion Eagles — it's his wife Kylie.

Jason, 38, spoke on a panel at Rowan University in New Jersey on Tuesday, April 21, where the former NFL star was asked to share who his "favorite teammate" ever is and why. Initially, he said it was an "impossible question to answer" before pausing for a few moments to think.

After joking that he "could completely be a jerk and not answer the question," Jason said, "My favorite teammate is my wife."

"She's taught me patience and virtues and selflessness," he continued of Kylie, 34. "I have by far learned more from her than anybody else," he said before addressing the special relationships he's built with past teammates on the football field.

"You know, every teammate you play with, you appreciate for who they are, and I had a lot of great ones in Philadelphia," Jason continued, adding "Usually the ones you were with the longest and went through the most times of, honestly, misery with are the ones that you love the most."

He named former teammates Lane Johnson, Isaac Seumalo, Chris Long and Bo Allen as those who he's learned from. "I had so many guys that I loved in Philadelphia that all taught me different things," said the former Eagles star.

Offering advice to students at Rowan University, Jason said, "Enjoy every second of this because once it's gone...I played in the NFL for 13 years; nothing replicates being in college and that experience," according to ABC6.

Weeks before Jason gushed over Kylie on Tuesday's panel, the Not Gonna Lie host hilariously revealed that the former NFL star spells one of their daughter's names incorrectly. Kylie said their 2-year-old Bennett, who goes by Bennie, should have her nickname spelled with an "ie" at the end, but that her husband continues to spell it with a "y."

"He still spells Bennie's name with a 'y.' We're not in agreement on that," Kylie shared. "Luckily, lucky for her, I fill out all the paperwork. So suck it. He just likes things that are straightforward."

And when Jason took their daughter Wyatt to a golfing range recently, Kylie joked that her husband incited chaos at home by not bringing the others. "Jason took Wyatt to the driving range, and Wyatt came back in last night, with an ice cream in her hand," Kylie shared.

"The issue is that he only took one child," she explained. "Then, she came back with ice cream. And they had no more ice cream. Hmm. Interesting. So then Jason said, ‘What’s wrong?’ This was when they came in, and she was standing in the doorway with her ice cream, staring at her sisters with a smirk on her face, and I said, ‘Well, it’s one thing to take the child out of the house for individual attention and solo time with dad activity, but it’s another thing to come back in the house with the ice cream.' "
