Ousted Good Morning America host Janai Norman turned heads at a friend’s New York City wedding last week in a stunning gold minidress.
The 36-year-old journalist, who was fired from the ABC show back in April, attended the event with her husband, Eli, and Fox News anchor Kenneth Moton. It was Moton who shared photos from the wedding, with the three of them posing on a rooftop balcony overlooking the city.
Norman, who shares three children with Eli, was all smiles as she posed for the pics. In the first, she stood arm-in-arm with a brown-suited Moton, while in the second, the pair was joined by Norman’s husband, who looked stylish in a grey suit and white Nike sneakers.
“The opposite of…quiet on the creek. And I like it,” Moton captioned the snaps.
Fans jumped into the comments, with one Instagram user writing, “You guys look great.”
“You look beautiful,” another told Norman.
“Look at y’all looking gorgeous and expensive!” said another.
Another added, “Yall looking gooooooooodtt.”

Norman confirmed her GMA Weekend exit back in April, saying in a video message shared on Instagram, “I hoped that we’d have more time, and it’s been hard on me that our time was cut short. I have loved my job… So it really breaks my heart that I don’t get to say goodbye. I’m so sorry that I don’t get to say goodbye — it would have been fun.”
In recent weeks, Norman has been critical of her old employer, including accusing the network of becoming “complicit in upholding white supremacy” in a video where she slammed GMA co-host Michael Strahan.
Norman took aim at Strahan over his interview with the parents of Nolan Wells, the 18-year-old who was found dead after attending an Independence Day gathering on Horn Island, a barrier island off the Mississippi Gulf Coast. In the interview, Strahan asked why Nolan would have voluntarily stayed behind on Horn Island.

“Bless Michael, because he had it right the first time,” Norman said in her video commentary. “The question should have been, ‘Do you believe that?’ Not asking these grieving parents to defend a decision that we don’t even know for certain their deceased son made. That was not an objective question. Subjectively, I would say that it was insensitive.”
She went on to accuse news organizations of putting too much trust in law enforcement as sources of credible information and not providing historical context on Mississippi, “the state with the most recorded lynchings in history.”
“By ignoring that context, news organizations become complicit in upholding white supremacy and, whether intentionally or unintentionally, end up playing into racial divisions,” Norman stated.
