Ex- Prince Andrew’s arrest last week on “suspicion of misconduct in public office” drew a lot of reaction from every corner. However, the former prince was released under investigation (RUI) 11 hours after the arrest. He was photographed looking shocked while leaving the Aylsham police station. Soon after this, the infamous photo of his arrest was put on display in the Paris museum by activists on Sunday.

The infamous picture of Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s arrest was put on display in the Paris museum, the Louvre, by activists on Sunday. The activists from the anti-billionaire campaign group “Everyone Hates Elon” mounted the photo on the wall on the weekend as they wanted to send a message to the former prince.

According to GB News, a spokesman for the group said, “We thought we’d show the former Prince Andrew how the world will remember him by putting up this iconic arrest photo at the Louvre.” The snap, which had a gold-like frame. It was captioned, “He’s Sweating Now – 2026,” and was displayed for 15 minutes before the Louvre staff removed it.

The solo picture shows the former Duke of York in a shocked state as he slumped in the back of a car. This was after leaving the police station in Norfolk. The former prince was arrested on his 66th birthday, “from Norfolk on suspicion of misconduct in public office.” As per Rob Shuter, he was asleep at his temporary home on the Sandringham estate. This was when officers arrived and woke him up before taking him into custody.

And as per a source, the ex-prince was unable to “process that this was happening to him.” He allegedly had a noticeable “Do you know who I am?” tone during the encounter. However, after 11 hours of arrest, he was later “released under investigation.”
