Netflix hit His & Hers stars Tessa Thompson and Jon Bernthal as an estranged couple named Anna and Jack, who have some unique skills. Two detectives, they reunite to investigate a murder mystery in their own hometown, all while harboring some suspicions about one another.

The show was based on Alice Feeney’s 2020 novel of the same name and it came to a gripping conclusion. After watching Anna and Jack’s undeniable chemistry combined with an exciting thriller, fans want more. But will they get it?
Here’s what we know about a possible second season of His & Hers so far. Warning: spoilers ahead.
Will there be a season 2 of His & Hers?
Netflix produced the show as a limited series, meaning the first season is intended to stand alone. There has been no update on a possible second season or renewal so far. Feeney’s book was pretty much covered in the series as well, so the producers would have to look for another story for Jack and Anna to live in.
What would a second season of His & Hers be about?
If the show’s popularity did lead to a second season, it might deal with the conclusion of His & Hers and the potential fallout of season 1’s events. The first season follows the murder of Rachel, Helen, and Zoe, and it’s eventually revealed that the killer is Anna’s mother, Alice. She killed the women as revenge for what they did to Alice’s daughter when they were all young. Lexy died at the hands of Priya, who shot her to save Anna. Through the process of investigating the case, Anna and Jack reconcile and eventually Anna is impregnated.
Who would be in season 2 of His & Hers?
A lot of the original cast is dead, but could theoretically appear in flashbacks, including Jamie Tisdale as Rachel, Poppy Liu as Helen, Marin Ireland as Zoe, and Rebecca Rittenhouse as Lexy. Bernthal and Thompson would likely be expected back as the heart of the series. There’s also Crystal Fox as Alice and Sunita Mani as Priya.
