Daniella Monet is still cheering on her Victorious costars

"I've always been their biggest cheerleader," she tells PEOPLE

Monet starred on the Nickelodeon show from 2010 to 2013 alongside Ariana Grande, Leon Thomas III, Elizabeth Gillies, Victoria Justice, Avan Jogia and more

Daniella Monet loves to see her Victorious costars continue to shine over a decade since starring on the hit Nickelodeon show.

The actress and mother, 37, tells PEOPLE that she "keeps in touch" with most of the cast and also keeps tabs on their careers.

"I'm so proud," she says, noting that she "was just watching" Avan Jogia's new show, 56 Days, and also recently attended a concert by her Grammy-winning former costar Leon Thomas III.

"Leon blew my mind, and I got to take the [Hollywood Arts] cast to see his concert, and it was so cool," she shares. "He took us backstage, and they got to go on stage."

"The kids on this show have grown up with Victorious. We all have such a good place in our hearts for Victorious, so I'm really proud of what I'm able to do now," she adds.

Monet is starring in and producing the anticipated Victorious spin-off, Hollywood Arts, which will follow her character, Trina Vega, as she returns to Hollywood Arts as a teacher leading the newest generation of talent. The actress also hints that fans might see some familiar faces in the Netflix show.

"I've always been their biggest cheerleader," Monet says of the original cast. "I feel so grateful and lucky to work alongside such talented people. They were so talented from the jump. Victorious was really a jumping-off point for all of them, and they're all in the verticals that serve them the best right now. I watch, and I am in awe of all of them."

Monet shares that it's been "amazing" building her own career and watching her costars do the same in their own paths.

"Ariana [Grande] is mind-blowing in all ways. Victoria [Justice] is still performing, singing, putting out new records and starring in sweet movies that I love to watch. Liz [Gillies], who is one of my closest friends, is so talented. I'm so proud of everyone. Matt [Bennett], I'm so proud of him doing his concerts and selling out all these massive venues. Everyone is doing it, and it's so cool," Monet shares.

Like her former costars, Monet has been busy since Victorious ended in 2013, starring in other series and TV movies. She has also built a large following on social media, with over 7.5 million followers across platforms.

She also recently joined method's "Dump Your Dish Drama" campaign, where she helps real couples work through their "dish drama," such as leaving them to soak overnight or not doing them at all.

"It's a small thing, but I'm also getting recognized by brands like method, where these are household names, and they trusted me to spearhead this campaign," she tells PEOPLE. "I feel really lucky that so many things are firing off at all times, but they're all really woven into this alignment that I'm also grateful for personally."
