A bride-to-be, Samantha, opened up about her decision to get a nose job, just months before her wedding

"A lot of people think I'm crazy," she admitted of the "risky" decision

One month after her procedure, Samantha said her surgeon did "exactly" what she wanted and encouraged others to do plenty of research before deciding to go under the knife

A soon-to-be bride is opening up about her decision to get a nose job, just months before her wedding.

Samantha, a content creator who shares her thoughts on all things pop culture, shared insight into why she made the decision to get a rhinoplasty and septoplasty less than a year before she is scheduled to walk down the aisle.

"A lot of people think I'm crazy," Samantha admitted in a video shared to Instagram in March. "Ever since I was a teenager, I've had a major insecurity that I wanted to get fixed and, transparently, I just could not afford to get it fixed."

Explaining that becoming a full-time content creator has given her the ability to "save enough money to get the procedure done," Samantha said that she did "a lot of research" before making the "risky" decision to go under the knife months before her wedding.

"I talked to my doctors, I told my surgeon exactly when I was getting married," she said. "The timeline made sense, and I decided to move forward with it."

In an update shared one month after she underwent surgery, Samantha recalled feeling "very anxious" about getting work done on "something that's smack dab in the middle of your face."

"It's risky even if you trust your doctor because if you don't like it, there's not much you can do about it," she said while emphasizing the importance of doing thorough research and choosing a trusted doctor, nonetheless. "You can't exactly hide it."

For Samantha, her main concern going into her procedure was correcting the "bump" on the bridge of her nose, which she said her surgeon successfully "got rid of." Her doctor also added cartilage to her upper nose bridge to create "one straight line from the top to the bottom" of her nose.

"I am so happy with the doctor I chose," Samantha gushed, showing photos of her nose before and after the surgery. "He literally did exactly what I told him to do."
