Bridgerton season 4 part 2 premiered on Netflix on Feb. 26
The regency romance has a history of including classical covers of big pop hits
Part 2 features instrumental versions of songs by Sting, Billie Eilish and Charli xcx
To nobody's surprise, Bridgerton season 4 part 2 brought plenty of romance, drama and, of course, classical covers.
Although the regency romance takes place in early 19th-century London, its soundtrack is made up of orchestral covers of some of the biggest pop hits of today — thanks to the show's Grammy-nominated composer, Kris Bowers. In June 2021, he told Composer Magazine that the show's debut season was about "focusing on how I can make this music as good as possible," from the orchestration to the score.
"I figured that the show itself would be somewhat popular, and maybe the score would be successful because we put so much into it, and I felt really proud of it, but for it to have the response that it had has been pretty surprising," Bowers said at the time, adding that there was a challenge in thinking about how to "continue to improve upon that" each season.
On Feb. 26, Benedict Bridgerton (Luke Thompson) and Sophie Baek's (Yerin Ha) love story picked up when the second part of the Netflix drama's fourth season premiered. While the soundtrack of season 4 part 1 included hits from Usher, Olivia Rodrigo and Coldplay, part 2 featured seven more covers of popular songs.
From a Sting classic to a track from Charli xcx's BRAT album, here's a complete Bridgerton season 4 part 2 song guide.

A Vitamin String Quartet cover of Teddy Swims' "Lose Control" comes at a rather fitting time: Benedict and Sophie's first sex scene.
Unlike their steamy makeout in the stairwell at the end of part 1, the pair are now in the confines of Benedict’s private quarters.
